tour guide and continue on with private transfer to Grand

You will have free time in the afternoon and evening to relax or
explore before going out to dinner at one of the best authentic
Cambodian cuisine in Siem Reap town, Madame Butterfly.
Don’t forget to save lots of room for your dinner; here you will
notice that Khmer food contain many spices and herbs. One of
your starter menus include “Gnoam svay kchei”, green mango
salad topped with sautéed chicken. And for the main course,
one of the highlight is “Amok Trey”, fish steamed in coconut
milk with peanuts, mushrooms and local herbs. Finish it up
with traditional Khmer Sweet. A truly authentic Cambodian
taste that you can hardly find somewhere else.
02 – Siem Reap Tour – Floating Village boat trip(Apsara Dance)
This morning enjoy your breakfast at hotel, then out to visit Artisan D’Angkor
home of handicraft center and Silk Farm in Puok, established by a French NGO
to revive Cambodia’s beautiful silk production. Here you will see every step of
Afternoon, you will be taken to lunch at Champey Restaurant. Start off with
sampler size Banana flower salad with chicken, Palm heart salad with pork,
Fried spring rolls with vegetables, Fresh spring rolls with shrimp, Tom yam soup
with seafood. And for the main course, Chicken curry, fried seafood and fog
legs, stir fried vegetables, chicken satay, pork stew and khmer amok fish. Your
delicious desert will be banana chef’s special.
After lunch, we will continue to enjoy a boat ride on the Tonle Sap Lake. This is
the largest permanent fresh-water lake in South East Asia and flows into Tonle
Sap River, joining the Mekong in Phnom Penh. We will see a fishermen’s
“floating village” with floating schools, floating police station, etc.
Tonight, savor yourself to one of the must see/do while in Siem Reap, Dinner
with Apsara Dance Show at Angkor Village Theatre. After dinner, return to
hotel for overnight.
Siem Reap Temple Tour
Breakfast at hotel, this morning start off with the visit to the world
famous temple, Angkor Wat. Angkor Wat is a World Heritage Site
since 1992,famousforits beauty and splendor,featuresthe longest
continuous bas-relief in the world which runs along the outer
gallery walls and narrates stories from Hindu mythology. It was
built during early-mid 12th century by King Suryavarman II, it took
about 35 years to complete the massive construction.
Continuevisiting to one of the area’s most beautiful temples Ta Prohm
Temple (mid 12th – early 13th century). Intentionally left partially
unrestored, massive fig and silk-cotton trees grow for the towers
and corridors offering a ‘jungle atmosphere’ and some of the best
‘tree-in-temple’ photo opportunities at Angkor. Today lunch will be
at The Khmer BBQ Restaurant. Featuring basket of starter (Green
papaya salad with crispy fried shrimp, fresh vegetable spring roll
with shrimp and Pineapple salad with chicken), follow with a basket
full of main course ‘BBQPhnom Pleng’ (5 kinds of meat: beef, pork,
chicken, crocodile and squid) to be cooked/grill by you using
Cambodian traditional Stove. And last but not least, seasonal fruit
Afternoon, visit to ancient capital of Angkor Thom (Late 12th – early 13th
century). Angkor Thom is a 3Km² walled and moated royal city and wasthe last
capital of the Angkorian Empire. The South Gate will be the firststop. You will be
taken into the Angkor Thom compound, and from there visit to the Bayon
Temple, unique for its 54 towers decorated with over 200 smiling faces of
Avolokitesvara,the Phimeanakas,the Royal Enclosure,the Elephants Terrace and
the Terrace ofthe Leper King. We thought youmight bemissing your hometown
food by now, so for tonight dinner at your own expenses, you have freedom to
choose (Feel free to ask your tour guide for recommendation, he/she will be
more than happy to help). After dinner,return to hotel for overnight.
After breakfast at hotel, join Champey Cooking Class. Classstarted from9:30am
to 1:00pm. You will learn how to prepare traditional and delicious Khmer
dishes underthe guidance of the chef. Our chef will take you to the market and
will explain everything about Cambodian vegetables, herbs, spices and other
ingredients and he willteach you the art of Khmer Cuisine.
You will also learn how to cut vegetables & make decorative
presentations of the dishes. Each person will have their own
cooking station. After cooked,enjoy your very own Cambodian
Culinary creation. Bon Appetite.
(Complementary: Box ofspices, recipes book, DVD and
certificate) Return to hotel. The rest of the day is
free at your own leisure time.)
Siem Reap – Phnom Penh
Breakfast at hotel, free time in the morning for you to pack or relax. At around 10:30 our guide and driver will be waiting for you at the hotel’s lobby. You will be transferred to airport for a short flight to Phnom Penh.
(12:20 – 13:05). Upon arrival Phnom Penh, meet and greet and go direct to lunch at Malis Restaurant whereyou will have a chance to try “Prohok Ktis”, the most famous Cambodian dish with preserved fish “Prahok” cooked with minced pork, kreoung and coconut milk. Served with freshmixed vegetables.
After lunch, check in Sofitel Phnom Penh hotel, then out to visitthe Royal Palace, built by KingNorodomin 1866 on the site of the old town, and the Silver Pagoda, located within the grounds of the Royal Palace, the Silver Pagoda isso named because of itsfloor, which is made up of 5000 silver tiles. Go on to Wat Phnom Temple, a small hill crowned by an active Wat (Pagoda) marks the legendary founding place ofthe PhnomPenh.
For tonight dinner, head out to Orussey Market for street food. There, your chance to meet local people and to taste truly authentic local food. There are verities of choices you can try such as awesome fried noodles with beef and noodle soup. The perfect spot to try yourfirst “baby duck egg” (may be?) or you can try marinated beef stick. And don’t forget dessert, you’ll havemany choicesto choose (we are sure you’ll have a hard time to pick because everything looks as good as one another). After dinnerreturn to hotel for restful night.
Phnom Penh – Kep – Phnom Penh
Thismorning, forget about your breakfast at hotel. Let’stake you to a local restaurant to experience “Bai sach chrouk” (Marinated pork with steam rice), featuring under CNN Travel article as one of the “10 meals every visitor to Cambodia should try”. And as for lunch, you might have to go extra milesfor it. You will be driven to Kep (approximate 3 hour drive), the coast of Cambodia, a good place to catch fresh seafood. Stop at crab market located right next to seashore, select your fresh crab recently lifted from the water as well assquid or shrimp. Have it cooked fresh at the spot and enjoy it at the open door booth along the ocean.
Take a rest for fresh air or you may swim before return back to Phnom Penh. And by the way, why do we need to go extra miles for seafood? Well, it’s simply because we want to enjoy fresh seafood along the seaside. Overnight at hotel in PhnomPenh.Dinner at your own choice and expense.
